Shirt or pants too short?

Hi all,

Don't know if I'm barking up the right tree here, but I guess the problem is in someway design-related.

Whenever I put on a T-shirt, my belly shows. Maybe there are situations in which that isn't a problem, but in general I like my clothes to fit.

Simple deducting gives me the impression there could be three things wrong;
1. There's something wrong with the build of my body;
2. My shirts are too short ;
3. My pants are too low.

Ofcourse I tried to lengthen my shirts and pants, but the shirst are always 100% long and the pants are 100% high, what leaves me to think that my body is out of proportion. Could that be possible?

The exception to the rule exists too; I have a set of Skull-pants from Here Comes Trouble, which fit perfectly. In their properties don't seem to be any different settings than with the other pants. Because they fit to the shirt, it seems that the problem is pants-related :P

Anyone an idea? I'd really like to wear a T-shirt and still be a decent guy :)

Thanks in advance for any help; I appreciate it.

Kind regards,
T.

Hi, I am no texture genius, but my guess is that the texture used to create the too short pants or the too short shirt was shorter than the actual pant or shirt template.

I also get bugged when a designer makes a short skirt, but uses the full skirt template...

The easy solution is to make your own pants, but if you find a few designers that take advantage of the full template, like Here Comes Trouble, then continue to patronize them and they'll make more, cuz they see it's moving. :)

I hope that helps a little bit.

Women's slacks are rarely full height to the top simply because of demand--everything seems to be hip hugger/low riders!

I did not know that was true of men's clothing, but it may translate over. All my men's pants are full height to the top because I'm like you and think a guy's belly shouldn't show.

So, the answer is your pants aren't full height. It's not you--it's not possible to have your belly show a gap beyond what clothing is set for.

Thanks :)

I notice now that when I create pants myself, I can make them fit at the top.
Too bad T-shirst can't be somewhat over the pants for that matter...

Cheers,
T.
