Ummm...you've GOT to be kidding me.

Can you fix this
This has probably been mentioned before. Can you fix the jumping out of seats and off poles when changing clothes. It would be nice to not have to worry about flying out of my seat when I want to put on a jacket or somthing.

That's a great idea! I'll add it to the queue of known issues.

First, I am NOT bagging on Brent. From every post I've read of his he seems a very nice guy. But this problem has been hashed and rehashed so much most Residents have given up on even mentioning it.

If LL won't talk to each other enough that this sounds new....

Brent!!! I'll take you through SL and show you anything you want to discuss that deal with your aspect of programming/bug-hunting/etc.

I will for ANY Linden!!!! I'm sure there are hundreds of Residents who will as well. Not to bitch and whine and rant, but to talk and explain. The forums suck for it. We all know that. IM/PM me ANYTIME if you want Resident input. I'm only one voice, but one by one we make a larger number.

Anyone else want to help out?

As to a more recent one -

The new chat system where you forget to click in the right place and stard jumping walking in goofy directions is idiotic.

Some others -

Clothes rezzing by themselves without help from appearance mode and rewearing over and over would be nice.

The default for a prim attachment should not be the top of the head - since everyone wears their hair there. The box on your head is funny and all .. but .. wouldnt the hand make more logical sense?

Ya I posted that. I figured this has been complained about but whats one more gonna hurt. I'm a dancer at a club and i'm tired of flying off the dance pole when I take an article of clothing off. Ah well..maybe next time.

I'd like to [UPDATE] that Brent DID infact find that the aforementioned issue was already in our BLoTtD (Big List of Things to Do). And it was a pretty old issue, one I had commented on, because it comes up in SL Answers every now and then, and Andrew also replied about it:

It's also important yes to look at what has been done. When a longtime pain-in-the-ass (I am saying "ass" way too much nowadays) gets fixed, I'm like "YESSS! DAMNIT BUG, DIE! DIE YOU SICKLY BASTARD!"

And oh I really hope "Add Landmark" button comes back to the Search panel so you can get landmarks without having to travel to places. That'd be ace.

BTW on a related note this longtime PITA got fixed in 1.11.1:

* Additional right-click functionality for inventory folders containing wearables
** "Add to Outfit" puts accessories on your avatar without removing existing ones
*** This is also activated by shift-dragging the folder onto your avatar
** "Replace Outfit" removes existing outfit and wears contents of folder
** "Take Off" removes ONLY worn items in the folder

Aura Linden did it. I remember having such a bitchfest over it in my early days.

Aura told me she's also adding the ability to right-click and Teleport to a landmark in inventory, so it's an easy two-click process instead of the current jumble.

Any communication I can give you guys I will. That includes my personal blog (make sure to read the disclaimer) where I am prone to writing about Second Life.

Someday, group teleport? That'd be nice.

Be sure to email me anything "under the radar but should be on the scanner" to [email=torley@lindenlab.com]torley@lindenlab.com[/email]. Include goodly details and previous historical citations like forum links, voting proposals, and mentioning it on blogs. I prefer stuff when it's presented tersely, solidly, sometimes with a dash of humor, and is compatible with a good game of chess.
