Is there some reason why the llParticleSystem command couldn't have the ability to make a stationary rectangular grid of particles?
It would be a nice way to make grass. The particle grass makers make grass that vanishes and reappears.

It seems to me that for real post editing fun someone should start a group forum in which every member of the group is a moderator, so everyone can edit everyone else's posts as well as their own. Some sort of amusing chaos might ensue.
