I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I wanted to share my appreciation for the designers who are participating in the Cancer Society's fundraiser. I am stopping at various vendors who are selling special edition items, because I know 100% of the proceeds are going to go right to the American Cancer Society.

In a place as chaotic as Second Life, it is a beautiful thing to see some of our outstanding community members pitching in. All of the charity events I have ever witnessed in SL have been big hits, and it goes to show what kind of community we have. I was simply blown away by the dollar signs seen in Elikapeka's charity bins. That is a lot of money that is so far donated, and it's so great to see.

If you have a moment, try to find some of these vendors set up. Is there a list of them somewhere? I'd like to find some more :) If there is a already a topic like this somewhere, I do apologize. Cancer has touched people I know personally, and I'm sure there is not a single person on SL who has somehow been affected by it's destruction.

So kudos to the designers who have put wonderful effort into good products, only to turn and donate all of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society!

(And I hardly ever wear pink, too!)

Edit: Point taken :) Acronyms are gone

Gotta watch it with those acronyms around here. :p I thought you were talking about AnsheChung Studios when I saw the title.

First off, I love VANG.

Secondly, it's so good to see people continually working on this year, after year, after year. Olbies... newbies... old folks... new folks... yet never some folks. *cough*

A round of applause should be held, here and now, for the incomparible JADE LILY: one of my first friends, and the first person who approached me about raising money in SL.

Jade Lily deserves a ton of credit, although she'll shy away from ANY of it; she started all of this, and I'm proud to call her one of my best friends in world. RC Mars has done a ton as well, but Jade is just on another plane. :-)

Regards,

-Flip
