Streaming video links?

I'm looking for some sites that give free streaming video links to use on my TV. All the sites I found links for don't seem to be working for me. Like: slguide.com.

I would really appreciate it!

Most Quicktime movies that you can find on the web will play in SL. Try this link at del.icio.us for some cool 'viral' type videos. You never know what you'll find.

Lots of stuff here. Use the Download links, not the streaming links. They show up as mp4 files, but they'll play.

Right click on the download link and select Copy Link Location and paste that as the link in your tv.

yeah, archive.org rocks! plus - there is a LOT of public domain content there, so no worries about usage rights and all.

also - the LIbrary of Congress has lots of public domain stuff. Like this retrospective of early animation:

I already watched one movie from the archive.org on my tv. Something called 'Swamp Women' odd, odd movie.. also oddly funny.

Hi Katherine! I developed a web-based system for SL-compatible streams in conjunction with CrystalShard's awesome FreeView TV. Basically, you rez your TV, click it, and you can open a web site where anyone can submit SL-capable video streams...and its all free.
