Asset server is running sloooooooow?

Is anyone else finding that all asset related things are extremely slow right now (Looking at an objects contents/texture loading)?

I can't actually buy things at the moment as the purchase contents window isn't loading.

the Slowdowns seem to be coming in waves. But yes since early morning it has been periodically slow as molasses.
