I just got the new Sony Vaio PEG-UX90S and have SL running on it, surprisingly enough. It's about the size of a paperback book, but runs the client very well!

Intrigued as I am about the possibilities of being on SL while pretending to read the paper, I would find it really really difficult to write code let alone use Ctrl+Alt+drags on that machine. Nevertheless, COOL!

Wow. That is just too cool.

Couple that with a wearable display and play SL anywhere. :)

Quite impressive!

Any way to stream live video via a cam on that oh-so-portable thing?

That way, we in SL could follow your RL avatar around!

I'm more interested in that dual-monitor setup.

I can see that it's Sony, but which model number?

:D

Heh! Yes, it's small, but when on travel (often enough), it's nice to be able to hop on and touch base. Real work in SL (building coding)? I'm not sure, just from how small the text is. I was curious to see if it would work, considering the unit is running an Intel graphics card. Seems so!

Streaming everything, it's running XP Pro with wifi G, so yep! Two built-in cameras, front and back, for the cam, Desmond.

PS: The monitors are Sony SDM-HS95D units. I have the left one on a switch, so the mini-laptop can display there (from the docking port) when it has an inferiority complex.
