Wow.. some people. The other day me and my friend were inside my new minimall I opened up so I can help her find a nice spot to setup her vendor and this guy walks in from outside and asks us if we're allowed to be here. Now being the land owner and all, a big "WTF?" ran through my head so I told him I was the land owner so of course we are allowed to be here. He was like "Oh.. well I was gonna extort money out of you, listen I'm a bit low on cash so can you give me $200?" First thing that went through my mind was get my shield up incase he decided he didn't like my answer and told him to get lost before I report him for harassing my customers and attempted extortion. Of course he through a hissy fit and my friend told him to get lost. After he left I simply added him to my ban list to avoid my place becoming a little hunting ground of his.
So anyway I give this guy an A for effort, but an F for brains.
Feel free to share your idiot run in stories.

Of course people asking for money is a common practice in most online games. But, when there is an exchange to real cash, people asking for money are as inconsiderate as the ones who do so in real life. QED (=Quit Extorting Dollars)

Just to add to the list of stupid attempts of people trying to get money from you,
I was in my back yard working on a build when a guy came up from behind me with a gun demanded I had over all my cash, when I told him to go cyber himself he shot me and demanded I give him my money NOW!!! then shot me again, anyway I turned the land to damage and shot him with something a hell of alot more powerful then he had and put him on the ban list

I'm just amazed when somebody who has the cash to have a high speed connection and a computer nice enough to run SL asks for $L. Either get off your butt and make some money in-world, or transfer some in from RL. If you can't afford that you really can't afford this game.

Here's my idiot story: One day I logged in and instead of having clearish textures displayed while waiting for the real textures to display someone had decided to use grey boxes with white around the edge!

What does the first name that Jarod Godel mentioned in his thread about new names mean anyway? The name is "Bukkake". Does that have something to do with how Jarod Godel described how to use GLintercept to acquire textures created by other people in Second Life?
