Do you spend the majority of your first life in Second Life? Does your primary contact info involve telling people to download the client and find you in-game? Weblogs, Inc. wants you! Please show us your stuff by sending three sample posts, a brief bio describing yourself and your experience with Second Life, and your contact information to winapply AT gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!

Well I am curious who will be blogging for them. That'll put it more in context. :)

I agree.

For me it depends on who the blogger is. If its someone who truely enjoys sl, then its a good thing. If its someone that is here to just start drama and complain about everything, then it would be bad.

A good blogger must be able to provide plenty of content on a regular basis, but to also write objectively about the experience.

On the other hand...

Personally I think they should hire Gene Ray - author of this page... I think he rocks - and anyone that can use the term 'bastardly queer' in a sentence gets my vote!

Wow, that hurt my brain. :D Warning: do not read without proper chemical enhancement.

O_o

I think I would die laughing if such a fellow joined the evolution / intelligent design discussion in here.

If there was ever anything to tempt me to create an alt and start posting with it, that blogger would be my inspiration! Though I don't think I could really pull it off...

Very interesting. What a great opportunity for someone!

FYI, I try to keep track of all SL-related blogs on del.icio.us to help spread the word:

http://del.icio.us/secondlife/blog

If anyone has a SL-related blog that is not listed on my del.icio.us index, please let me know and I'll add you right away (just email me at pathfinder@lindenlab.com).

Take care,
-Pathfinder

Damn, you need a LOT of chemical enhancement for that jumble :D

Hmm, now I need to check Pathfinder's bookmarks to see which blogs aren't in my own list... and it looks like there are tons!

Truth be told, for a half-second, I considered applying, but the truth is, I want to enjoy SL on my own terms... I already don't have that much time to log in and keep my store running, so another blog? Nah, even if not standing a chance, it's still not a good idea. Not at the moment, at least. ;)

This said, I'm curious as well to know who this blogger will be, and how s/he'll blog about SL. Weblogs, Inc. has, uhm, good stuff, and way less good stuff too.
