So I'm browsing the forums... as usual and in the classifides come across a few adds regarding adopting/wanting to be adopted avies to be part of a family. Now I'm all for freedom of play in sl... with exception of the "age play", but I have to wonder... is the child avie growing up? And what happens then? Will there someday be Grandparents?
Just a cirous ramble really.
Oh and I was recently out of SL for quite sometime... is this a new game evolution?

Nah its been going on since I've been here.. I've never looked into it but I just see it as extended SL family.. You don't start off with any so, they sorta adopt some..

Well I spose it all depends if you know someone whose into it.. I've only run into it a few times in world.. But I've never seen it on the forums before.. You have to know someone pretty well to know they do have adopted family members..

Why not post some info in this thread, Takashi? I'm kinda curious, too, and I'm willing to bet there're others who'd like to hear more. If you're worried about people yellin' and screamin' about how sick and wrong anyone who wants to play a kid in SL is, I'll bring my baseball bat.

I have an SL daughter. I went AFK one night about 14 months ago, came back and I had two fully grown kids!
We don't take it as seriously as other people in SL, infact she rarely logs on. Shes in a shorter AV, but doesn't play a child, she dresses and acts how she wants and how she would in RL (completely crazy in an adorable way  )I'm really not sure what kind of questions you guys wanna ask..
