Ok, I have read on a number of threads that you can get to the moon in SL. Fact or fiction?
If it's true, I want to know how.

Thanks!:D

Well, I've heard if you drive towards the horizon for long enough, you'll find a castle in the mountains and you can go inside and explore it...

Maybe the Lindens need to add a missile after, say, 30 seconds of game inactivity?

You mean Google Maps. There is very little better than Google Earth, which has sapped many of my hours mountain hunting.

It's amazing what you can find out about a celestial body just by viewing it from space. This reveals amazing details of the composition of the moon - I am astounded by what it shows.

Of course the moon exists. I saw it on the map, it's next to the cornfield! Too bad nobody is there right now to confirm it, but I assure you it is. ;)

FYI

We do have a Rocket to the Moon Ride at Mars Hotel in Pierce, made by the legendary RacerX Gullwing

You need to join the group Jamband tourbands and we do offer rocket rides to the moon

IM me or Sansarya Caligari when we are online we will take you on the rocket if you can't locate it yourself
