A person is sending out an item called "VGI Money Ball". THIS ITEM STEALS MONEY FROM THE OWNER IF YOU ALLOW PERMISSIONS!

Please note that any and all VGI games will be sent out by Games Prototype only. If you receive a game from anyone else you should report it as abuse immediately.

As usual the official Linden response is "Please Report It" (so it can be ignored  ).

Could you post more posts please? Material like this is COMEDY GOLD.

Let me know when you play the sunset strip.

This is serious! This person is wiping out peoples accounts in matter of seconds with this item. Please beware.

Serious, true, but it's yet another case of "don't give debit permissions to anything you can't look at" or, at the VERY least, comes from someone with a known reputation in SL.

I sympathize with those who've lost money, but it's ultimately a bit like responding to an email that says "We've lost your account, please respond with name and password and credit card info".

That would hamper those worthy souls that are trying to build a good reputation.

I suggest depositing the bulk of your L$ in an alt, before giving debit permissions. That way at least you can limit the losses, and see if the item performs as it says it does. It's probably the best use for an alt there is.

I'd give a newbie developer a chance as long as they show some investment in SL of their own. Like buy some land, build a store or whatever to show they are halfway serious about their work.
