I vote for G-man faceballs or red spirals of bounce, personally.

Of course, those are the only two killer apps I've seen since joining this wide, wonderful world of SL.

Haha.

I am witty.

that would be freaking amazing to see integrated into sl.
the similarities between the tools we have now, and the ones facegen offers is one of the things that hooked me into sl in the first place. the most compelling pitch my hubby gave me was "It's sortof like FaceGen, only for the whole body! You'll love it!"
oh, to have the real deal....what a nice thought.

Judging by what I saw in the 1.9.1 Preview?

Capes.

With POWERS! Like the ability to shoot muffins or some-such. And they'd have woolen socks for hearts, and cold, mechanical seams with which to plunder the innocent!

..Or at least Wind-Wavey Action(C)

Flying Pancakes that shoot Syrup at people.

JK

A Built in Animation designer would be nice. One that lets you use your Avatar to create them.

Teledildonics? In Second Life, we've got qDot Bunnyhug! So, really, not all that far away, thanx to his pioneering work. Who else is involved in this sorta thing?

1.9.1 is like the "superhero" upgrade... capes, yeah... also lights for all those would-be police officers and those who want to shine Batmanesque signals and metaphysical rays and whatnot.

I'm gonna be a thresher or something, Maxx Mackenzie made a pretty badass cape I've been flying around in, and Esprite Xavier gave me this scythe--he made ribbons on it flex objects, and they dangle nicely when I'm posing, ready to harvest the (watermelon) crop.

Doesn't poser do the same thing for less?
Seems I've been able to make any face I wanted with poser just fine.
But posers age morph doesn't do it's job I think. A plug-in can fix that though.

$495 for a face gen is a bit much.
Poser is less.
And DAZ is free. Heh :D

Something that will dynamically convert movements from motion capture devices into commands to play corresponding single-limb animations. That's the closest we'll get to scripted rag-doll animation this decade. :P

It seems fashionable these days to bag on the HTML-on-a-prim plan but I honestly see this making a revolutionary change in the world, provided:
1) The web content is fully interactive
2) AJAX, Flash, etc. are all supported.

The world will be infinitely more useful if this is done and it may become less of a fringe-dwelling, novel form of entertainment. I think business folks and people who want to do serious collaborations will be able to do so when/if HTML is fully implemented.
Also, just from looking at the preview, jigglyprims are also going to make a bigger difference than some people realize. It may seem like baseless bling but I think it may bring the world orders of magnitude closer to having a realistic, organic feel too it.

3) they give out free GeForce 7800s and RAM upgrades to everyone who hasn't replaced their PC in the last couple of years.

I was bagging on HTML-on-a-Prim before it was fashionable. With the HTTP support you'll be able to do almost everything you want from HTML-on-a-prim using XyText and similar tools... and be about 10 thousand times less laggy.

Radio button: View HTML content on prims? (ON/OFF)

Now the rest of us can get on with creating better interactive content using standardized web development tools while the rest of you wait to upgrade your hardware.

Are people really meaning to say "bagging on HTML on a prim"? Do they mean "ragging"?

I don't think I've ever heard or seen anyone say "bagging on", but then I don't get out much other than to work.

Being able to import and export geometry to make very specific custom content.
Just make us pay for it and limit the amount of poly faces, but it will make this world SO MUCH BETTER!!!

Oh and let us make custom deformable characters with fullbody pre-bind blendshapes with real-time normal mapping
