Additional basic account?

What on earth is the value of the additional basic account to pay $9.95 now at the time of came to be able to have free accounts? Just curious and I have to explain it on our local Wiki. Any idea? Thank you.

All new accounts are free with no credit card needed. That meens Infinity alts.

This price page for Japanese is older and causes trouble. I hope they correct them.

When they got rid of the 'referal fee' where you gott L$ fo everyone mentioning your name when they signed up, they also left it in the FAQ pages for quite some time. At the time, a couple of my friends joined, and of course I didn't see a penny. But after pointing the little line in the FAQ out to the Lindens, that clearly stated I should recieve it, they forked it over ^.^

They're usually not too fast with updating pages on the hompepage end of the game, and I also think sometimes some things just slip their attention. Now that you mentione it, it will probably be corrected soon

i checked out the DE and KR versions and they need updating too. Since theres no credit needed theres no way to tell if it's and aditional account except possibly the email address used, but you can use a fake one it doesn't require verification of any kind. :/ It's like signing up for a message board without the email verification.
