Let me again first say that I think that SL is great! I love all the things I can do in the game, but now that I'm finally getting used to the interface, I have a couple complaints about the way the game handles big characters. Here is what an arm tattoo looks like on my character. I wish I could get my L$ money back for the tattoo because it looks like a bruise--in this picture I'm standing next to the tattoo that it's supposed to be. (A similar thing happened with a pair of jeans I bought as well--the texture was so low-res that I couldn't tell what it was supposed to look like, yet, there are other jeans that look fine) Another thing that's rather strange about the way big/fat characters are handled is the belly size adjustment: Why does it make the belly the area between one's crotch and a little bit below the bellybutton instead of where one's belly usually is like a beer belly? I don't know anyone who has a belly only where their crotch is--if someone's belly is big enough to hang down in their crotch, it's also really big on the upper belly. Anyway, again, I really like SL, and I look forward to playing it more when I'm done typing this message. Thanks.

looks like the texture didn't load completely, you'll see distortion abit but blurryness is usally the asset server, try taking it off and putting it back on. Helps me when I have trouble with texture loading.

That took care of it. Weird that the texture didn't load right even after restarting SL, but it worked perfect after taking it off and putting it back on. Thanks. (Now if only their next update would make the belly where it's supposed to be instead of a crotch belly, I'll be extra happy <grin> The help I've gotten here for SL has been amazing, and quick. Thanks again.

I think there are a number of possible reasons your tattoo didn't look right.
First, you made need to adjust your graphics settings, or it may be due to your internet connection strength...both have been a trouble to me.
Second, the area you were in may have been high in prims, and therefore experience a lot of lag. Wait a few minutes, or take it off, and put it back on.
Third, there very well may be a problem with it adjusting to a larger AV, but I've seen some huge muscles on guys, and they had clear tattoos. Contact the builder/scripter/former owner and ask if they can modify it for you, or offer a trade or refund. Most people are very reasonable.
If all else fails, use the Live Help function. Those guys are great!
Good Luck
