I have been in SL for about four months now and have seen a lot of different places. I have come up with what I think is a unique theme for an island or sim. I do not have the money to invest in either. I think my idea has a lot of merit and could bring in some money. If anyone may be interested and desires to invest in my idea please let me know. If I am right it could bring in a lot of people to this new island or sim. I can be contacted at georgeflan@gmail.com or in-world when I am on. All I am looking for is a small lot of about 2048 to put a house on in return for my idea and am willing to manage and work the idea into a full project. I do have managemant experience. Would need backers and designers and scripters to make this one of the most popular locations in SL.

not to piss on your parade, but ideas are a dime a dozen in sl.
its the execution thats the problem.

Not necessarily true. Most ideas are, yes. But some ideas are worth much!

Tringo: well, a good idea, plus good execution. But only good execution (without a good idea) wouldn't have put it to where it went!

So that makes one idea worth slightly less than one cent (US$ 0.0083333), right? At the current average exchange, that would be roughly $L 2.24.

Gabe I'm betting if you do the math it cost you more in electricity to post that answer than buying the idea

Hey wait a minute!!! I'm an Overlord - get back to work you slacker!!!

On a serious note what you are looking for is a Vulture Capitalist, who generally want a solid business plan and fprecasts of expected revenue etc, etc... problem is no legal recourse to idea theft here - since you mention only needing 2048m maybe go to a sandbox and build the idea as a finished product or prototype ready for delivery and present it to a potential investor, you can document the Intellectual property rights issue with snapshots and they are might be more likely to consider buying your idea than stealing it - still lots of loopholes but its a thought
