Why is my Second Life software so damn slow. It's terrible. I click an arrow, 3-5 seconds later, I move.

Takes for ever to close the program.

What's the deal? My PC is only a year old.

Click shift+ctrl+1 ingame and tell us what your ping is.

There could be several reasons for lag. It would be nice if you could post your PC's specifications and your internet connection here. Also the country where you live in can be a factor for lag.
