First, I'd like to thank all those who took the time to respond to my thread "Is this common practices".
I came in earlier today for about 2 hours. In that time, I received several messages from players who read the thread mentioned. They express their sentiments and wrote how they're aware these type of practices are common with these people. It surprised me they called regarding this.
Another thing I heard many times was that Linden won't do anything being they get lots of cash from said person and wouldn't want to risk losing that.
I do have a premium account. I mention this being I saw people telling me to upgrade if I hadn't.
I won't let this incident sour me on SL. I know there are many decent honest people here who don't resort to lowdown tactics. Some of these people are the ones who took the time to respond to my problem and for this I'm thankful. I'll proceed with caution from now on as I let my guard down.
To Grene Greenstein: Unless you're either the agent who made the deal with me or the CEO herself, you have no say, as you weren't there. I only dealt with two people the entire nightmarish time and neither of them was you.
And it wasn't "one or two days later" as you mentioned. And I didn't "outright violate the zoning rules".
Just trying to set the record straight. I'll put this to rest now and move on.
