new player, got a question..

hey, i just started with a basic membership, how do i delete this char on my account i made so i can make a different one?

there is no way to delete it that i know of you can cancel it and start a new one if you would like ...maybe if you state what the problem with your current character is we can help you find a fix for it

Theres lots to do! You could check the Events calender to see whats on, if you choose educational you could see if there are any building classes on to learn how to build.

Its good to explore for a bit too, and talk to people, they're usually very friendly! If you go to the main welcome areas (Ahern or Waterhead) you might be able to find a Mentor to show you around. And LiveHelp is always there for questions, (Help menu (up top)> Livehelp).

I have always enjoyed find/search as a way of getting around. Let's say you are into Minihydrogeorussonudiphobia. Just enter that into search and you will have a decent chance of meeting some instant friends that share your interests.

Try these search terms in your "Search" button.

Select the "Places" tab and search for any/all of the following, one at a time:

"Shelter"
"Newbie"
"Money Tree"
"GNU"
"Junkyard"
"Free"
"Aircraft"

Some general categories you might find interesting:

In-world games. You can join games of Tringo, Slingo, Greedy and so forth without needing money. It's customary to donate to the pot if you have money, and to put a portion of any winnings back into the pot but you're not required. These games are not hard to learn and you get to meet people.

Classes. Want to learn how to script, build, make clothes? They're out there.

Discussions. Interested in the more esoteric aspects of virtual worlds? Yep we do that too.

Clubs. If you just want to hang and have fun you can tour some clubs, dance and chat and maybe even pick up a few $L from their money balls.

Gamble. "Investment for the mathematically challenged" since you'll likely lose money, but some casinos have events where you get "free plays" -- for example, 5 minutes of free slots for a mere $1L and you keep all your winnings. Meanwhile you get to dance and meet people.

Fly aircraft, skateboard, skydive, ride a hot air balloon, surf, sailboat, jetski -- you get the idea. There are clubs for most of these activities too, and some of the major vehicle builders have freebie vehicles you can play around with.

Do NOT buy anything untill you have picked up all the freebie stuff..
