Quick question re. mature / PG areas

Just a quickie:
If I'm close to the border between a mature and PG sim and I'm shagging someone, and that can be "heard" over the line in PG-land, am I committing a TOS violation?

In my opinion, no. You're on a Mature parcel, you can do it, assuming you're not visible to the PG parcel. Unforunately, SL offers no way to place walls or other barriers that stop sounds or that prevent someone from mousing a camera right past your walls.
I *think* a recent change allows a land owner to limit sounds on their parcel to stop at the edge of their parcel. Haven't verified that yet, but I thought I saw a land option to that effect? If so, I wish the slingo parlos and xcite sex clubs would use that feature!

Its kinda splitting hairs , I think its a little rude even if in a mature area if your being so noisy that people in other parcels can hear your talking prim bits  If its just convo why not private message? |

How far away can the "talking prim bits" be heard? And is there any way to prevent them from being heard by everybody in the vicinity? If you and a partner are together, it really should just be the two of you who "hear", I would think. It can get rather embarrassing otherwise! |

Okay, Simple fix for the noisy folks.
Go to About Land. Go to Media Tab.. and check the box that says *restrict sound to this parcel*
That should keep *coughs* any sounds etc to your land. I use this feature at my club because it has a beach with those wonderful waves... which I feel tend to cause added lag with the sound effects... so I parcelled off that small area where the waves are and restricted the sound to it....... and you can only hear the waves if you are standing right on the beach.

Refering to the original question, regardless of whether you can be seen in a PG area or not, if you are doing it in a Mature zone then by strictest understanding of the TOS you are not in breach, you are doing an adult act in a zone specifically rated to allow it, that said a little bit of decorum would not go amiss maybe.
