There are several people who have prims on the land my SL partner owns. Some are friends, some are renters. We don't like to require people to join yet another group in order to keep a few pillows in our home or share a section of land to make a home of their own or just rent a shop vendor stall. So I just keep a running list of who has permission to drop stuff and check the land objects every now and then.
Every once in awhile I will notice that someone has dropped just a couple of prims. Most of the time it's a friend. If it's a stranger and not someone I know has rented a vendor spot it's easy, I can just hit return. However if it's a friend I dont necessarily want to do that because there may be a reason so and so has placed 5 prims one day. Maybe they have put out a favorite chair they like or maybe they've set up a nice little picnic spot they plan to bring a date to later. But I also know that sometimes people just drop stuff and forget to pick it up.
What I'd love would be to be able to do is check that person's name and not only see how many prims they've left out but also be able to track down exactly where those prims are. This way I can just go over and check for myself what is there, whether it is a chair, a pose set, or just a couple of empty boxes they forgot and have a better idea whether I should send it back or not.
Unfortunately scripting is not my forte and I'm certainly not knowledgeable enough to know whether or not this is something that can be made by someone or has to be set up by LL. So anyway, thats just my little gripe for the day.

You're welcome. If that doesn't work for you then you might want to try the Scripting forums.

In a recent release, you can also click "REFRESH LIST" under About Land --> Objects, and click a person's name. All their objects will be highlighted in yellow like when you edit an object, so you can easily seen where their objects are. Scan-Foo rocks as well. Regards, -Flip
