I, for one, never express myself in private.

As future Grand Inquisitor, I demand additional options be placed on this poll. How can there be such a poll without the option of torture(s) before banning?

No, expressing yourself in private should lead to mandatory death sentence.

Providing you don't do it all over the wall. It's okay.

100% isn't a real figure; are you sure you didn't mean either 70% or 125%?

I voted pie, simply because it was the one option that made sense to me! (Anyone reading my thoughts or private expressions is in for a reaaaaallll treat. Most asylums hate having to deal with the results.)

expressing yourself in private in RL? or in private in SL?

i think you should be banned from SL if you don't express yourself publically.

The mere thought of expressing myself in private makes me want to shut myself up in an oven and nicely baked.

I'd think both could settle for cake, personally, of the cheese- and beef- varieties. Those, after all, won't get one TOSsed for posting naughty pics to the forum.

Absolutely.

Everyone knows that self-expression can lead to dancing.

I don't understand the question. It's far too broad a subjrct. Express yourself how? Emotionally, religiously, sexually? What are we talking about here?

If it were truly in private, you couldn't possibly be banned, because no one, including Lindens, would be aware of it.

Something tells me there's a big ol complicated story behind this question, with plenty of 'he said-she said' and dubious definitions of "private".
