Alva, Caballero, Gelfand, Grosso, Guerrero, Hosoi, Kaupas, Lasek, Lucero, McGill, Mountain, Peralta, Roskopp, Senn...
There are others, but those are the ones I noticed. Someone at LL on an oldschool skateboarding trip? lol

I think they watch movies or read the paper and decide to make names from there

I don't have a reference, but somewhere it was mentioned that the Lindens have a big jar full of names, and anyone in the office can just write down suggestions on little slips of paper and toss them in.

Right now I have noticed it's all name from my spot on the map, QUEBEC! It feels so odd to see all these people from USA or all over the world, running around with last names of my RL friends and neighbors and stuff. XD Haha!!

awhile ago they had several of my real life ex's last names
like 3 of them at the same time.
I resisted the urge to make several alts with thier full names then get them to jump off tall buildings or engage in *ahem* questionable practices.
hmmm.. actually... i wonder if they are still available...
lol... just thought how odd it would be if i bumped into someone who legitimately created an account with my ex's name.
anyway, when i first joined it was desserts of the world 'tiramisu, pavlova, baklava' mmmmm.....
