...put the actual subject of the thread in the thread title?
That way the forum would be much easier to filter without having to load every thread to see if it's something interesting or not.

Just a suggestion. When I hover my mouse over the thread title, the balloon tip tells me the first line inside the post. That way, I don't have to deal with jerks who don't make proper use of titles. Jerks. |

Jerks. Actually, I hadn't noticed that, that makes things a bit better. But not much. It's not a massive problem, but it's one of those little irritations that really winds me up. I've started ignoring this forum because it takes so long to sort the wheat from the chaff and as a result I've missed a few things that I could've really done with knowing. Being able to scan the list for those few threads that might contain useful information is invaluable and all it takes is for people to write the reason for the thread in the title. Instead of pointless teasers that no-one finds amusing anyway. |
