Hi, folks. I know a lot of people I'm trying to appeal to in this forum don't read events, and this isn't about only events but rich content in general so pls resmods don't move this thread. I'm building on this suggestion: From: Pratyeka Muromachi Hi all!
I just want to announce that I'm making my Horyuji pagoda replica available for anyone interested in displaying it during an event. It is a 2600+ prims 1:1 scale of the RL Horyuji pagoda. It is a crowd attractor. So if you have the prim allotment on your land, why not drop me an IM and I'll set it up for you. You can then just return it after your event is over. And Pratyeka got me thinking that folks in the community might be willing to have their names added to a list of free resources for event and rich content providers. This is an effort to sustain your favourite places in SL. If you are willing to provide rich content makers in SL with funds, consider making a donation* to FFRCAccounting Control, or add to the thread answering the following questions. Cheers folks. Let's pull together to make sure that we don't wash the baby out with the bathwater. 1. Are you able to give cash or a free resource? 2. If cash, what range and if resource, what nature? 3. I don't have money or other things to give. But I can build and would quite happily give my time to any project that adds 'content wealth' to SL so long as it doesn't become a cash cow for another player and/or group.

I can think of at least one instance off the top of my head that I'd offer building services for free, because it offers an opportunity to a lot of people in SL and is non-profit. I have donated tier and land already to things I considered important or just liked. I also wouldn't mind paying to see something or be somewhere, even if I was only mildy curious or interested.

Creative contests like Primtionary or Blitz Building; culture events like live music, readings, poetry contests etc. - events that add diversity to SL 4. I like events with people who can spell  I like contests or games where I can compete against other people, or watch people compete. 4. When is best for interested parties to contact you in world? During euro hours, I'm usually not online after 5pm SL time

Thanks for the information and the ideas! Anyone else have something to lend to the events and other cultural / experiential content creating community? (otherwise, known as rich content, except for when it tempts one to bad jokes)  *j/k Argent* As for rich content, well that's why I put that question there. SLers decide what that is.
