Who was asking about long distance teleporting?

I've lost track of the thread.

Whoever it was...

I've put my long distance teleporter (full perms, open source) up in my mini-store in LostFurest dAlliez (500m above Avalon Lagoon). It's notecard-configured - you don't have to actually edit the source, but you can if you want.

We were talking about it in Land and Economy somewhere.

I'm certainly interested in having a look at what you've done, though the 'core' of the script was posted the additions you mentioned seem rather useful. I'll pop by if I at all get a chance.

Perhaps this would be a good script to sell?

Yes, I make a few scripts I give out freely myself (elevators, parcel music changers, stuff like that) but this seems to be a rather handy, universal thing for just about everyone.

Maybe charge at least $L 100 or something just to cut back on the inevitable flood of questions an unrestricted freebie might unleash?

Well, yes, plus the "core" that was posted wouldn't actually be terribly useful.

I thought of that, but it's not that much of an advance over the standard sit-teleports and I've got much more complex and complete scripts as freebies already, ones that everyone can use (particularly Cyberflight) so I've left it open source with the BSD license. You can buy it for L$10, but you can turn around and give it out for L$0 if you want.
