I used to look at the leader board in the client. I'd look at the top ten and wonder, as I am sure many others did, who the people in top were that I had never heard any mention of.
I'd also look myself up and see how I was doing in net worth and such, and wish I was doing better in this category rather than some other.
I wished I could look up other people who's avatars I have encountered, that would be fun. Maybe be able to create of list of people you want to compare yourself against easily.
The thrust of this post is to ask what characteristics one might want in the leader board of their dreams. The leader board you would find most entertaining or useful.
One readily quantifiable property I can think of that might be amusing would be the number of items one has in inventory. Someone claimed in chat lately that they have over 89,000 items in their inventory. I have roughly 10,000. Therefore they are 9 times better than me. Or 9 times worse. Or something.
Right while typing this I am thinking it would fun to see who has how many of what type of clothing items. Who has the most shoes? The most "underpants"?
So, without worrying too much about the details of actually being able to quantify things, what sorts of things would you find it fun to see in a leader board of your own design?
Anything amusing will do, not just dry measurable computer data.

I would guess off the top of my head that Starax has the most underpants.

From: Susie Boffin No I have the most undies I assure you. I was going to suggest your name as a likely high ranker in the underpants category. When it comes to underpants, I thought about saying, you can't get much ranker than Susie Boffin's. But then I realized that might be somewhat rude, and more significantly, that you might kill me if I said something like that, so I changed my mind. A good thing, no doubt, for both of us. As for Starax's underpants score, I meant one's that belong to him. That he wears. Not souvenirs. An obvious choice of alternate comparison categories would be frequency of AV sex, how long since last cybergasm, things of that nature. User reported figures on such matters would likely be somewhat unreliable. It is at least possible, just maybe, than some of the women might distort the truth a tiny bit, while it is an absolute certainty that the men would tell lies big enough to choke a, a, oh, something with a really big esophagus. Linda Lovelace perhaps? -- Merry Christmas, Susie

From: Susie Boffin I probably used to until I renamed them all panties. So that's where the term "boxers" comes from.

Perhaps some parts of one's rap sheet would be of interest.
Number of abuse reports received for making fart noises.
Number of times suspended for improper advances to Philip.
Maybe number of bug reports on different topics, that would be a good one, have the lindens rate them for usefulness, show a score based on quantity and qualtiy. That would actually be a good thing to compete on, so that's getting slightly off topic.
Number of times thrown out of vehicles crossing a sim border.
Percent of time spent in SL with all the rendering options, like grass, fog, etc turned off.
Number of SLer's seen in real life.
-- Oooh, here's one to not encourage competition in - blingyness.

Anything but inventory. The last thing we need is people consistently increasing their inventory items just to stay on a game board. Also please don't include number of attachments or prims rezzed or textures used. That stuff inherenly slows the world down.
We'd honestly do better to not have all those calculations updating in the first place. But taking the boards down would cost us fifty or sixty players and that would be sad.

Lowest amount of lag induced in a sim by being in it.
Most alterations made to AV (that did not match previous ones).
Most L$ transferred to others.
