Here's an idea...

I understand why LL is ending dwell payments, I also understand why they took dev incentives and rate bonues etc...

But why dont they take away stipend from basic members, dwell, and whatever else they want to take away, BUT bring back event support... I have a feeling if they do not do this... SL will get pretty boring for some... but at least if it is event support, they are at least earning it...

come on... im getting rich off my 4L a week...

I doubt basic resident stipends amount to a lot. It's only 50 lindens a week, or a whopping 17 cents per account. It takes a long time to save up for most anything without purchasing linden. At this rate, it would take over 4 months to buy your average priced furry avatar, which means most basic account-holders will opt to do so.

The basic stipend is probably just enough for someone who built most of their stuff and uploaded on occasion.

i would love to have it back, it would save me many hours of mr anti social, im working in my shop


BUT

it would be gamed sooo much worse than anything we have currently, lets say i get 500 bucks a event for 2 events a day, well ive got 2 accounts so i could hold a 4 hour yard sale, put party in the discription (so its ok) and rack in 2 grand a day without doing anything

I think it can be done if monitored, also the events had to be some sort of a contest... and $250 was to be for prize money, which usually went to multiple players...

thats the catch 22, what little inworld linden support there is now cant moderate the events calender for 1 simple thing like yard sales
