lindex vendors in RL?

i have come up (maybe ALOT more people too) an idea for linden lab:
lindex vendors in RL, where its a machine where you insert your dollar bill or whatever into the machine, after logging in, and it transferrs it into L and puts it on your AC. this would be much more useful to people who dont want to use a credit card or just have some spare change on them. these vendors could be put at places like, gamestop, LANlords, and other gaming places. i couldnt place this in vote because its not a feature. do you think this idea is good?

No. Vendors like this would sit idle and unused for weeks, or even perhaps their entire installed life time. There are not enough residents to warrant such a capital investment and no incentive at all for LL to put these into place. The few people that are unwilling to use a credit card probably just need to find another place to play. Sorry.

But as you have the game shops in mind - take some timeout to think out your argument then go and see the manager of each of these shops in turn and convince them that having a "shop avatar" available would be a good idea.

You could then pay the assistant in the RL shop your money ( by whatever means you wish ) and they could log in whilst you watch and transfer the Linden to your account.

( Of course they would probably want a commission on top of what they buy the linden at )

There is probably also a case for selling Linden that way as well - maybe getting shop credits for other products or even Hard Cash ( with a commission ).
