Has no one ever setup a 3rd party, Second Life events calendar? Seems like someone could make some bank doing that, especially with llHTTPRequest on the way. Fix a blog-like site that shows a calendar of events, and tack on an RSS feed that could be tapped with in-world devices once 1.9 hits the grid.
You could even sell HUD's that could notify people of events. Maybe even an "alarm" feature, where they can stick events in a notecard in a prim. Has no one done this yet? _____________________

It appears that Lordfly has not only stooped so low he's hosting a yard sale to make a few extra Lindens, he's advertising them illegally. And the quality of his writing is way down, he didn't even put a space between "yardsales" and "zomg" in the sbject! 'Tis a sad day. |

What's the point, the LL event calendar is immediately available to everyone for free... you can't compete with that ![]() _____________________

Would it be full of yard sales though? |
