i really enjoyed this article, and was pleased that the reporter had clearly immersed himself in the experience of second life, not just observing from the other end of the microscope.

i've given copies of this article to many older generation friends and relatives who have had trouble conceiving of the scope and potential of SL and other virtual worlds, and it's been very eye opening. i'm having serious dialogues with people now who constantly ask challenging questions and bring exciting ideas to the table.
