There are two camera control functions I never see anyone mention, "Focus on Selection" and "Zoom to Selection.
They are found in the Tools menu, with keystroke shortcuts of H and shift-H.
Do you use "Focus on Selection"?
Do you use "Zoom to Selection"?

No, i never used those, before now. I gave them a try and i don't think they give me something extra in most cases. When i'm building i'm already rotating and zooming with alt+Lm, it might be slightly faster with h or shift-h, but alt+Lm has become secondnature already. I even try to use it in other apps. XD
They might be handy to use on a big build to zoom in a far away prim. What do you think, do they give you a enhancement in building?

Especially screens shots of SL in a browser. I noticed those options a while back, and I couldn't tell how long they had been there. Could have been the more recent revision before I noticed them, could have been a year before. It bugs me that I didn't notice them right off. If no one or practically no one is using them that might be 2 slots on the Tools menu that could be put to some better use. Ssince they deal with camera it might make more sense to have them on the View menu. If zoom to selected actually moved the camera such the item selected filled the screen that might be useful. Move the avatar as needed.

We aren't able to delete a thread ourselves, or I would have already done so. In neither post did I manage to successfully create a poll as I intended, so I could have created a third one to get it just right, but two was more than enough. I have filed a bad post report on the other thread, asking the moderator to delete it.
