Hola all, I just tryed running a few searches with the "Search This Forum" button in the upper right hand corner of the forum post view and the "Search" button on the top toolbar. When I pressed the "Go" button, my browser said it couldn't find the proper page. (URL: /invalid_link.html) *sigh* just another reason to hate vBulletin search. I can't believe it limits search words like "llParseStringKeepNulls" and "RPC". ==Chris EDIT: It only seems to do this when I search for "list length limit"

Christoper, forum search is pretty batty.
It fails at random, or at at least for reasons that don't seem to have to do with the search terms used.
It also fails when you use words that are too common, and it can doesn't necessarily give you a message about it.
It fails for words that are too short, or too long, and it also fails on words that aren't too common, and aren't too short, and aren't too long, and lies to you about the word being too long.
It is my understanding that we can get 3 letter terms puts into an exception list so that we can look up things like RPC.
I think we just need to request this of Jeska, most likely.
3D graphics forums need to be searchable for sin, cos, and tan.
Scripters need to be able to search for RPC and XML and HTM and a bunch of other acronyms.
