I am interested in learning about any ongoing projects by Linden or residents that concern providing access to SL for severely disabled people. A friend of mine is a quadriplegic, otherwise normal 33 year old who wants to get a job, have fun with friends and meet girls. Maybe that's asking a lot! But, if he had access to a suitable hardware interface, perhaps with voice command, and modifications or plug-ins to the SL client to work with that interface, it could be a wonderful way for him to expand his life horizons. Please reply or IM me if you know of such a project; Thanks!

I think you have to find the solution outside SL, with your OS and computer hardware. All of which could be harnessed to give better access for the disabled. I have a friend who is similar to yours and he has no problems accesing SL using a screenwriter etc. And enjoying building and so on.

One feature though I'd like to see is better support for color blind people. For example in build tools if you are color blind and use the selection, you don't see the faint blue lines. If the color of those lines were changeable this would greatly help some people.
