I thought maybe if i address the general populas of people that play, maybe someone would have encountered the same problem and would know how to fix it.
Many times a day, usually more often when some action that involves right clicking, my connetion bar in the upper right cornor will drop to nothing and stop recieveing files all together. The game doesnt crash and i can still stream music but i can move or do anything. When i logout i must remained logged out for times of 5-10mins or longer because if i log back on in that time frame the game only loads about half of the textures in the general area and maybe a few AV parts of people around me. Before it gets done loading the connection bar drops again and i cant move or anything. When i asked LL what could be the cause of this they basicly said we dont know...

That sounds like the sim you're in has crashed. You'll lose your connection to it, so no bandwidth will be used. You won't be able to move, and if you look at the minimap it will usually become red at some point. Also, ping time will get stuck at 10000ms. Music streaming will still works because the music most of the time comes from a server that has nothing to do with LL. The server just tells your client what server to use for the music, and after that doesn't need to do anything so that it keeps playing.

Yup, the fact your audio stream still works indicates that's not a problem with your connection; it's a disconnect between your computer and the sim, which usually means the sim has gone down. Does it happen more in one sim or another?

it happens in any area but is usually tied to right clicking. one i right click an object or person it disconnects from the sim as you say. I dont mind getting disconnect i know that kind of thing happens. its just the idea that i cant log back on again for awhile otherwise it doesnt work.

When i asked LL what could be the cause of this they basicly said we dont know... for the first 2 months of my SL time, I was having problems like that.. I would get max bandwidth and packet loss, nothing would load I couldn't move. If i was able to move it would be a few steps then I would go flying through buildings and the ground and not stop. I tryed everything talked to LL many times, couldn't find out what was wrong. Then my friend checked things out for me, I at the time was on a belkin wireless pre N router, and my friend he put a linksys wireless G router on and that fixed the problems. It was like the difference in light and day. ever since i've not had that kind of problem again. Maybe you should check your router out. If your on one and try a different one, or with out one and see if that makes a difference. I hope this helps you.
