I had one once, mostly for fun, but it sure wasn't much fun paying huge amounts of money with one hand and battling Linden bugs and missing Estate control with the other.
If you want to make money on it, you better have an insanely good business idea that can tolerate a few days downtime each month, the latest days events should have shown you to be very careful about investing any money in SL.
