-broken?

I dunno. The only eMails I recieve from LL are direct Mails from individual Lindens, none of the other stuff works (thanks for helping establishing what was happening Torley).

Now I'm NOT getting IM's off line any more! Instead I've started getting 'busy' replies to IMs I HAVEN'T sent to people I DON'T know! Talk about ghosts in the machine.

It's begining to look as though having an eMail address in my account details is a waste of time - or maybe I should put an address conected to an autoresponder in my account details? One that sends two replies to every received email. But wait! Why stop there? 10 replies? 50?

I'm getting copies of IMs 3 days after I received the first one. Got one today, in fact. Some are group vote propositions, but not all.

This goes from bad to worse. I just sent an email to a concierge Linden about a land texture problem and it was bounced by the mail server - because it was over 1000 chr long, 1023 to be precise, that was 82 words. Too long for LL to cope with...

The only observation I can make is - I thought this was the broadband era, 'all emails must be <1000 characters', are we still on dial-up here?

I'll quip up with, "Not just that, but it's all handled by Tandy 80's and Commodore 64s."

The only IM emails I get are the proposals. And well, SLBoutique, but my friends IM me after logging out and nothing. It might be waiting in my IM field when I log back in... if I'm lucky.

Worse to absolutely ridiclous!

So I reduce the message to under the magic 1000 character length and get this!

'This is the Postfix program at host data.agni.lindenlab.com.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

The Postfix program

<mailtoim@data.agni.lindenlab.com> (expanded from
<e3d2eb2b-240e-7b9e-bfea-8f71be52ad6a@im.secondlife.com>;): Command died
with status 100: "/opt/linden/indra/tools/mailglue/mailglue --grid=agni
--system=im --rpcserver=http://xmlrpc.secondlife.com/cgi-bin/xmlrpc.cgi".
Command output: This email to instant message session has expired.
'

If I were of a negative nature I'd wonder if anything round here works reliably, as an island owner I'm now reduced to hunting down individual Concierge Lindens inworld in order to report problems. This really isn't good enough. And I can't even report it!
