Below is a classified ad I saw a couple of days ago. Is it just me or does this ad actually target the under 18 crowd? I can't give solid reasons why I feel this way (other than some dood speak). Maybe it's all in my imagination.

Looks to me its just trying to capitalize on the ostercization of newbs because of the registration changes. I think you're focusing on the "You should be treated like adults" sentence ... which ... out of context could look odd, but to me it sounds like they're trying to say "We know you're probably being treated like you're not adults, so come where you WILL be". I don't see it as you do, I guess. Plus the whole "Must be 18 or older to enter" at the end kinda' negates it  |

I'll grant that the ad is not very well-written, but Heaven has been around for almost a year already and has not had to capitalize on anything. In fact, what its popularity tells me is that many new citizens' first effort at searching in "Find" is with the word "sex" -- try it and see where Heaven shows up. they have always use ADULT in their advertizement -
I remember - becuase back in the days of verification i though it was funny the copy writer spent so much time stressing 'adult' sicne there were supposeldy only adults in SL
In addition they always wrote the adds to basically say that you will be treated like an "Adult" and not asked to pay escorts. Which i thought was odd - evidently the person who writes their ads feels only children hire prostitutes.
