I understand you, but there just isn't any easy way for a new person to start making money here quickly. You have to learn a skill, like building, scripting, animations etc... or offer a service of some sort. It takes time, and there are no guarantees you will make money even then. I was here for months before earning a single L$. I don't think there are any easy suggestions we can give you I'm afraid.

Ok then, a real plan....

1) Spend every day for several weeks taking classes in SL to learn how to do these things:
to build with prims
to script
to texture
to use photoshop to make clothes and textures

You will need to SPEND money to pay for uploads. You will not MAKE any money yet.

2) Now you know how to do them, decide which one you do best.

3) Do that thing every day until you are the very best you can be at it and you have a LOT of things made. This step should take a few months.

Again you will need to SPEND money to pay for uploads if you use textures and you will not MAKE any money yet.

4) Open a store and fill it with all of the things you made.

You will need to SPEND a LOT of money to buy the land or rent the land to put the store on and you will need to SPEND more money to advertise but you will not MAKE any money yet.

5) Make almost no money at first for another few months until you have regular customers and a reputation.

6) Finally begin making money and hope it is enough.

The process should take about a year. So one year from now your boss can expect his first 2500L$

I am not trying to be mean Son. If your story is true then I feel for you. But what you are asking for, money right now, is not going to happen.

Really, the smartest thing you can do is copy this information and give it to your boss.

I heard that a decent chinese salary, working 6 days a week, 10 hours per day, is about USD$35 per month. That puts things in a perspective.

There is no quick way to make money here, sorry. There are other games that are better for money farming.

Instead, try www.entropiauniverse.com. Start by gathering sweat from animals and sell it. Use the money you make to earn more. You can easily make that amount of money just by standing in the busiest areas, buying and selling goods. Good luck!

I don't want to be a wet blanket here but a Chinese woman who can communicate in English this good is normally considered an "elite" there, and would have a far better job than the average. Haven't you guys noticed it's mostly the punctuation that's wrong and that most other mistakes look so intentional? The real sweatshop workers are usually from rural villages and they often do not even read and write their own language very well.

Elle, I seriously doubt whether Son's boss is trying to 'farm' SL. SL is already notorious for 't3h cyb0rs3cks'. My guess is that Son's boss is either in the process of setting up a *cough* escorting *cough* business in SL or already has. 2.5 k in 10 hours? Pro 'escorts' can make that in an hour or less. But that's only after considerable investment in the 'tools of the trade': skins, clothes, animations, poseballs, accessories, etc. It sounds like Son's boss is not only too cheap to kit out his workforce but talks in vagaries hoping that the likes of Son will figure out what he really means.

That said, I find it heartening that everyone so far has done their best to point Son in every possible direction *except* the 'escorting' trade. So if you're reading this Son, tell your 'boss' to take a hike and take the plunge into SL for yourself. Spend a couple of months exploring, meeting other players/avatars learn a few skills (building is easy, fun and rewarding). But above all be here for yourself, not for a 'boss' or 'manager'. You may never earn 2,500L$ an hour like the hookers, but at least you'll have the pleasure of knowing that you'll be creating something of lasting value that other players in SL will be able to appreciate and enjoy.
