We pay for second life yeah its worth it but are we credited for the downtime every weekend?Seems every weekend second life goes down,but we still get that 7 day email if we are late with a payment,how about an email saying your account has been credited due that second life has been down most of the time.Just a little rant or a little vent thanks and havea great day!

They need to do something. I Know it's not their fault that the grid was attacked, but it's not the Paying Customers fault either.

hmmm, i didn't even notice SL was down today given the fact that I havent been on all day but I still made Money (doing a yard sale irl

). so...

No, I don't feel credit is needed when there are avenues for entertainment and revenue to be had during downtimes.

A customer acknowledment to the situation at hand is always appropriate, but not always a monetary adjustment.

Getting shafted BY OTHER USERS. Fine, wanna make LL pay all the accountholders for their lost game time? Then make the griefers pay LL for it.

Otherwise... Linden Labs has gone through the trouble of creating this massive online world where we can exercise our imagination. When the grid goes down. I don't get angry with LL. I get frustrated at griefers. If you're THAT sick and tired of SL being down for all of ... 2% of all given hours in a week then downgrade to a free account. Its the internet, its run on computers. Stuff breaks. Get over it.

not everyone in second life has or owns a vendor,buisness,or a store.Thinking on behalf of half of second life residents that don't have an income,like your new residents.Residents that get simple 500 stipend,the 50 stipend think about them instead of yourself,thanks and have a great day

the only time i get in world is on weekends. And that is when thise griefers tend to strike. IF LL is powerless against them, then yes, credit should be due, imho. If I have twenty-four hours a week to dedicate to SL, six of that, and counting, has just been shaved off.

How come so many people are complaining to LINDEN LAB. How the HELL is it their fault that some jackasses did some multi-rez junk?

i was on earlier and went fishing with my rl bf.......had no idea nad i don't really care one way or the other, this is my blowoff, so rl being good is far better. lighten up its a game.

Then stop paying, bye. You agreed to the TOS and if you didn't like them you shouldn't have payed in the first place.

You aren't paying for a spot in some democratic office, the amount you pay or if you pay at all doesn't make any difference to how important your opinion is. If you are being so horribly shafted you could easily cancel your account and go somewhere else.

Yeah, the attacks are not Linden Lab's fault. But after many, many months of this they should have done more by now to make the grid more secure and less vulnerable. Clearly.
