This is an attempt at getting a better guage of an accurate user count comopared to this lame poll. Last number I heard was 70,000 distinct avatars have logged in in the past 30 days, while the number on the front page represents distinct avatars in the past 90 days. _____________________

I'm not always on for Saturday or Sunday, but I usually am. And most days I am on two, maybe three times per day. (Before work, lunch break, and evenings).

And how many of those are alts? How many have logged in once or twice and are never heard from again? Based on Vasudha's economic numbers, I estimate the number of honest-to-FSM users (i.e. those that actually use SL) to be closer to 25,000. |
