Please check it out and report any issues. Grab a Second Life viewer for the preview from: http://secondlife.com/community/preview.php. 1.10.6 is planned to include: * The PvP History option has been replaced by "Bumps, Hits, & Pushes" under the Help menu * "Find" changed to "Search", default for new users is to search "All" content types * Parcel "access denied" lines now fade significantly faster with distance * Parcel owners can ban users based on account settings Bug fixes: * Banned users cannot be heard from your parcel * The "Open" option appears when right-clicking a child prim of an object with contents * The Linden Locations list now shows Mature areas * Fixed a bug that prevented some offline IMs from appearing * Fixed a bug with the INSERT key and text fields * AGP enabled for additional graphics cards * Small flexi objects are now rendered correctly * Stars are back! Full release notes to follow just before the release. Joshua Linden --danger danger error ahead --- So far it seems to be that the snapshot function has been removed entirely, so far as what one can see, at least. There is a snapshot animation but no menu for saving as texture, emailing, or saving to disk.

I just signed into the test version of 1.10.6 and had no problems with snapshots - it is the normal, uncomplicated dialog box we currently have - I was able to save and also bring up the email postcard form.

So is the scaleable interface gone too? (gee, it would be nice if the different parts were independently scaleable)

Interesting... From: someone Bug fixes: * Banned users cannot be heard from your parcel It was a bug that they could? This implies that zone-based conversation filtering is quite possible. So, Lindens... How about making that an option?

Philip's chat log on the changes was not real clear - I thought he mentioned raising the parcel ban limit from 50? Where is that?
For big clubs, 50 is NOT enough. Not even close.

Everyone was all yay they're raising the ban limit.. I thought they meant the actual height limit, didn't know they were going to raise the limit on AV's banned. I have alot of trouble decyphering some of the Linden's cryptic stuff though.

I still have to peel someone off the top of the list to add one more to the bottom. And we're shopping for security scripts that only check for blacklisted folks (doesn't do a thing with others). If they're not bumping the ban list length, I guess it's time to invest in another security device

The biggest thing I was looking forward to is something Philip mentioned in the Town Hall.... disabling llpush using the estate/land tools. Then someone brought it up in the SL Answers forum and LL basically said "Nope, sorry, not gonna happen anytime soon. ...but it's on our radar."
Thanks.

Thanks. This really needs to be a client side option anyway, not something at the parcel level.

For big clubs, 50 is NOT enough. Not even close. If I recall correctly, Philip said the 50 av limit for banning was a technical limit. He said something about packet size, but that they were looking into ways around it. I wouldn't expect to see it anytime soon, sounds like it'd require a lot of rewriting.

Thanks. It's useless to even comment, but I still don't know why they say we're going to get these things, and then they go away. Bigger ban list and nopush options are not 'a nice thing', at this point they are *needed*. I really can't believe LL is backburnering this... but then again, maybe I should.
