not sure if this is allowed or not, but is there a way to make it so that my av doesnt logout when I go AFK?
also is there a way to get the URL of the station that i'm listening to? i'm at Quki casino and I like the house music they have there, so I wanted to listen to it while i'm not in the game...
thx!

there are items like this one that keep you from getting logged out when AFK. (This is just the first one I found on SLX, I'm sure there are others) Re: the music URL, you'd pretty much have to ask the person that owns the land. You used to be able to view it in the land properties, but I think it was becoming a problem for people that were streaming their own stations and had limited bandwidth to use.

Don't spend money on this anti-idle script. In fact, there are two of them. One introduces a windows tool to move your mouse every few seconds. The other uses a lsl feature to achieve the same. There is a free script here 101921 that does the latter. AFAIK music in the land properties is xxxxxed out. So you don't know the station. Regards, Leff.

Open the Debug menu (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D) then go to debug console (I can't login, but I think this is the one). There will be a bunch of words on your screen, but if you push play/stop you can see the stream numbers, just write those down. (Yes, this makes the *********'s in the about land useless.)

From: Emir Goodman not sure if this is allowed or not, but is there a way to make it so that my av doesnt logout when I go AFK? The timeout is there for a reason. If you can't be at the computer for any period of time, log out like sensible people do. If you don't, you're hogging system resources from real players and lowering the experience of those around you. The only people I can think of who would do this are campers, and as the maths has been calculated many times that it uses up more in electricity than you get paid $ equivalent of L$, so it's a waste of time and gives a false impression of what might be a good experience in SL. In my research, I've not found one place that offers camping chairs that gives any other reason to want to visit - and if they can't attract visitors without paying them to sit there then the game would be better off without them. There is no legitimate reason to be logged in, afk, for hours on end. Period. So don't do it. Lewis

I agree with Lewis Nerd, stop using resources and making it laggy if you're not even going to be playing! >=|
...Uhh... Hi Emir Goodman, by the way.

...Uhh... Hi Emir Goodman, by the way. ty lol i'm sorry if I came off too harsh, but I just dont like when ppl tell me what to do (none of us like that) nobody ever sits infront of their computer for hours making 2 lindens every 10 mins... when ppl do this, they are most of the time on their laptop right next to their computer, or watching tv (or hell, maybe reading a book)
