If you mean that you created a 2nd account, and never got charged....

I'd just go with the flow & consider yourself lucky

Not sure what you mean by 'linking' of accounts - there's no way to share inventory between two accounts directly.

Noone is helping me, there is no place I've found that gives me a specfic answer or tells me where I should be getting help from. I've had a account for over a month and created this one as a secondary. In NO way is this character connected to my other character which pisses me off, I was told during creation the wonderful system would find my old info and match me up - didn't do that! Infact it just created its own account and is probably violating the TOS. How do I pay 10 dollars for my stupid second basic account. WithOUT creating a completely new account.

Did you use a different credit card number and/or different address when creating this new account?

I'm not sure what you mean by "In NO way is this character connected to my other character which pisses me off" - your alternate accounts aren't ever connected in any way I can think of to each other, except for the fact that you're the owner of them.

I dont remember using a credit card for my first account and the payment method for that account is paypal apparently. My address/email and w/e is all the same.

Hmmm. Sounds like they goobered up on their end then. I would say your responsibility only goes so far as to notify them of the situation and offer to pay the $10 fee, probably via email so you have a record of it. You've done your part by notifying them, and I would imagine that they aren't so petty as to cancel your account due to a billing error on their end. As long as you made a good faith effort to let them know, I think you're covered.

Or, you might want to post in the Linden Answers forum which used to be the Hotline forum, that way you have a good record that you informed them as well, even if you're not directly talking to Billing.

If you're really stressed about it - I would either email billing at: [email]billing@secondlife.com[/email], or call the office during buisness hours & sort it out with them there.

I am willing to bet if you email billing essentially saying I'm trying to give you the money I iwe you its noy a slow response. Yook them all of 20 minutes to just answer a question about a method I wanted to use to give them money. Not what I wpuld call slow. Unless of course you are one of those people on the comcast commercials - "Excuse me Where's my Latte?"

Dude. Just STFU. Get an alt without a numver in the name, unless it means something, and be happy. Your FIRST account is free. The one after is L$10 and the same for others. you can stash (IIRC) up to seven total per CC. This is to prevent soemone from busting unlimited griefertards on the grid and taking up all the slots for a last name.

If you're lost and confused about this whole deal already, then you might need to look at something that requires a monthly fee.

And 'no help.'? There's plenty of help out there, you just have to ask instead of posting a confused rant in General.
