(Based on the ending of "The Wizard of Oz". GLINDA was the friendly witch
who helped Dorothy get back home.)

GLINDA
Are you ready now?

DOROTHY
Yes. Say goodbye, Toto.

MS -- Dorothy waves Toto's paw at the Tin Man, Lion and Scarecrow -- then
speaks to Glinda -- Glinda instructs her --

DOROTHY
Yes, I'm ready now.

GLINDA
Then close your eyes, and tap your keyboard with Ctrl + Shift + H

MCU -- Dorothy's keyboard as she taps it three times --

MCU -- Dorothy and Glinda -- Glinda instructs her -- waves her wand --
Dorothy closes her eyes -- CAMERA TRUCKS in to a big CU of Dorothy -- she
speaks -- the screen darkens...

GLINDA
And think to yourself -- "There's no place
like home; there's no place like home;
there's no place like home."

DOROTHY
There's no place like home. There's no
place like home. There's no place like
home. There's no place like home.

I tried Ctrl+Shift+H, but it didn't send me home. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+H is so much better! :p

Yes, Contrl-Alt-Shift-H is the best, but how appropriate that contrl-Shift-H sends us home! I use that all the time, now.

Is it default, or do you have to turn something on? I think I'm borked. :(

It's annoying the tar out of. By habit I hit ctrl + shift + H when I really just want to open the chat window. Boom TP'd home. Was funny the first few times now it is just driving me nuts.

When I teleport home using the menu item, I'm rotated as appropriate for my landmark (I assume "home" is stored as an internal landmark). When I use the key command, I teleport in facing some other direction. I didn't test exactly what direction, but I didn't end up facing the way I expected. Has anyone else noticed this?

CU -- Dorothy's face as she opens her eyes --

Camera trucks to MCU -- Dorothy is standing on absolutely nothing -- She lays down suddenly -- After a few seconds, her bed appears --

DOROTHY
Snap! Lag!

CRANE SHOT bedroom, out window -- House appears, part of her parents appear --

DOROTHY
And you were there and, wait, she hasn't rezzed yet...

FADE OUT

Here's the deleted alternate ending:

While the rest of the house is rezzing, a newbie comes in and fills dorothy's bedroom with the alien fleet consisting of 300 odd prims and then TPs back to the sandbox sim.

Dorothy considers filing an AR but the profane things she said to the newbie make her think twice.

Toto, the adorable SL companion dog made by Aimee Weber, in the meantime is affectionately hovering above Dorothy's left shoulder farting fire every now and then(all those jalapeno tacos from earlier).

The rest of the 110 prim bed and the 2000 prim house rezzes. The mother's 250 prim hair is still downloading. The father's bling script kicks in and the frame rate drops down to 4.

Dorothy falls asleep knowing that the it will be next morning before all the cool textures of the house load.

The End.
