A few friends and I were messing around with gestures near some other people. Instead of asking us to stop, they just muted us. Apparently somehow the mute got taken off, and they were complaining again.
Why can't they just politely ask us to stop? I know I was being annoying, I'll admit it. But if you ask me to stop, I'll stop no questions asked.
Although one of the people at the Greedy table near us at the time abuses his Michael Jackson gestures all the time. I don't get why they didn't tell him to stop, too.
Furry hate? Possibly...
I needed to rant a little... Ignore me if you'd like

Why not just mute? It's a win win. You can keep having fun with gestures. They no longer get annoyed.

I needed to rant a little... Ignore me if you'd like Because their experience has been that when you make a reasonable request like that, the majority of the time the response is going to be that the people you asked to stop swear at you and do their best to be even *more* annoying? That's been my experience, and that would be my guess anyway.

From: Akuma Senn Furry hate? Possibly... Why of course. Any logical person would conclude that.

OK, maybe I was a bit hasty in my snarkiness. However, you did say "I know I was being annoying." I just thought that probably answered the "why" of it right there.
