Hand of Cards HUD with Generic API

Back when HUD attachments existed only in the preview grid, I worked up a HUD that would display a hand of cards. The HUD had some simple interfaces for adding and removing cards from the hand, and a deck object in the world would call them. The game itself was in the deck. The hand of cards HUD was generic.

It's been months now, and I never got around to putting this back together on the main grid. By now I'd not be surprised if someone else has done the same thing. But if no one has, I'll probably go ahead and whip this thing up. Here's a pic from the old preview grid:

Has anyone seen it's like in SL? Or should I go ahead and spend some time on this?

I was working on something similar for V:TES in SL, but never really got it off the ground.

I say go for it. If you're willing to open source it too, all the better.

The problem with doing it open source is security, the one thing I hadn't coded yet in the preview grid. (Since it was just me there.) If I can make communicaiton between the game script and the hand script secure enough to prevent even people that know the code from hacking in-progress games, then I might make it open source. That should be possible, but I haven't done it yet so I'll hold off on making predictions. I know how I'll start in on it, at least.

Either way, people will be able to make their own games using this system, whether the API is open or not.
