Its time for a change from seeing Anshe Chung on the SL website as the only person who is a successful business person in sl . I know there are others so why arent these people sought out and advertised. This is not an Anshe Chung flame and i have the highest respect for her for what she has achieved but others have achieved business success also and they should be profiled, instead of the continual profiling of Anshe Chung which appears not now have becomea blatant advertising exercise for someone that is all over sl and doesnt need the advertising.

I think people do the same people over and over becuase they see that the interviewee was succesful in their SL, so they know the interview will go well. Other, newer, names probably don't get interviewed because they don't know hot to expose themselves to get the attention. (This is an opinion, not fact)

I tried to change a Role Model once.

But she wouldn't hold still for the second diaper pin. It got ugly. Cops came.

<sighs>

Another wasted weekend in jail.
That oughta teach me...

Can I just ask?

Would we vote on this role model change? Doesn't it beg the question - How many residents does it take to change a role model?

Do we choose role models?. Doesn't their success or notoriety dictate their fame or news worthiness?. Is there anybody as successful as Anshe?

Do you think the world's population chose Bill Gates?

Can I get to the end of this post without asking a question?

Can I?

No?

I agree, we all know Anshe is successful, and I commend her for it.. but there are 100's, probably 1000's that are successful in SL as well...
This came up awhile back about the Press releases... (not about Anshe though, I think it was about designers) And what it boils down to is the Lindens have a list, a small list, that they give out to the press... Catherine Linden use to handle this, (I am not sure if she still does) but she once posted on how you POSSIBLY could be able to be interviewed, or something or other... I dunno, its late...

I shouldnt post when I am half asleep. :confused:
