Hiya. I have recently bought my first parcel of land in second life but the only thing I havnt figured out is how to play music on my parcel using the music controls. I know I have to paste a URL into the music media box in the media section of the land control window but I dont know where I would go to find these URL's if someone has a link to a website(s) that have them please send it to me.
Also would it be possible to play music from your own library on your parcel and if so how could I do this?

most of the links on www.shoutcast.com will work.
Most popular this moment is .977. Click the link, and look at the properties. For .977 it's http://64.236.34.67:80/stream/1040 I have a simple radio script where you can add urls, and there are a lot of radios for sale that come with presets. If you can upload your MP3's somewhere, then you can play them too. Or upload them in 10 second pieces and script them together. Or set up your own shoutcast server. |
