3 and 3 both of the 3's you put up

I also like being insistent and pouty when I don't get my way.

1. Building - Without a doubt, the main reason why I'm here. I can't find any other online environment that allows me the WONDERFUL fun and creativity that the SL tools, imperfect though they are, allow.

2. Socializing - I don't do as much of this here as I have in other games, but it does mean a lot to me to hang around and goof off with my friends. So I would put this as my number two thing.

4. Texturing objects - I would put this under building. I love texturing! So much that I have to restrain myself from asking the people running, say, Bingo, if I could just have a moment to retexture their benches, lol. (Stretched out textures really bother me.)

8. Reform issues - I spend time on this, but I certainly don't enjoy it. I hate its guts, as a matter of fact.

10.Discussion groups - yes!
Lets me let off steam with like-minded people! Or lets me think the Lindens are listening to me! Within reason, though. You could spend your whole life in discussion groups, if you're not careful. I've cut down on mine.

13.Art events - If this includes things like fairs, expositions, the Winter Festival, etc., yes. I love seeing what all people can do when they join together. Whenever something like this comes along, I attend.

16. Games - Very definitely! Slingo, Blood 21, Bingo. I enjoy those, but not often, as I'm usually working. Captions I try to catch when I'm not too deep into working; ditto SLictionary.

17. Streaming movies - This is something I would do if I had the time. I have seen a wonderful movie theater in SL, and I was going to see one of the movies with a friend, but he hasn't been on. Watching just any old thing, or watching by myself, would be kind of a waste of time.

Other:

Some exploring.
Garage sale shopping.
Texture shopping.

Fun thread!

1. Building - One of my favourite activities in SL. I love that we can imagine something, and then set about turning that into a 3D reality.

2. Scripting - Only learning on that, but so far, enjoying every moment of it.

3. Socializing - Another favourite activity. Love meeting people, finding out about other places, discussing all sorts of interesting topics, and listening to others viewpoints.

4. Modeling with my avatar - Another of my favourite activities, and one I don't get to do nearly as much as I would like to do.

5. Texturing objects - Goes with building. Personally I love to create textures! Quite often I will be making textures, and end up making one, which then inspires me to build something just so I can use the texture/s.

8. Volunteering - Well I Mentor, so I guess that says I enjoy volunteering. Newbs are great, love the fresh way they see the world.

22. Other - Hanging with some of the wonderful friends I have made in SL. Could go in socialising, but to me they are somewhat different.
Exploring - Love flying around or TPing to some random place, checking out the wonderful creations others have done.

Great idea for a thread :)

I like most of what SL has to offer. Though my level of interest is only mild in some stuff.

1. Building
3. Socializing
4. Modeling with my avatar
5. Texturing objects
6. Making clothing
7 Avatar creation
8. Volunteering
11. Discussion groups
12. Sex or Sexual community involvement.
13. Clubs
14. Art events
15. Music
16. Off beat one of a kind events.
17. Games
19. Weapons and/or Combat
21. Learning through classes.

22. Other. Taking pictures of builds. Exploring sims. Collecting poses/anims for my AO. Photo-shopping snapshots. Clicking on interactive objects (yes, I'm that easily amused). Writing stuff in notecards. Messing around with my profile. And other mundane things.

1,2,3,5,11,16,17,18,20.

I spend most of my time on building, scripting, and texturing, but I'd like more socializing and discussion. I wish games were a little more chatty. I"d like movies better if you count on seeing the WHOLE movie in one sitting. I like teaching better if if I had more time to do it.

I'd love to get hold of a green hilly sim and turn it into something wondrous someday.

1,2,3(when I have time), 4, 5, 6 7 and 8 on occasion. 10 a bit (tho not nearly as active as I'd like to be right now with Neualt), 15&16(also when I get the time), 17!(I'm here for the games, that's what SL is all about right?(ducks)), 18... And what's a "threw class"? I think I tried to throw one once and it went right through my neighbor's window, now I'm through with 'em! Oh, and 22. :) Working on my own projects, working a lot on the new Darklife recently which has consumed allll of my time to do any of the above...

1. building

This is pretty much the only reason why I play SL. I have met some really nice people though and that's a bonus but building is what keeps me coming back.

That and "teh Aimee".

In no order:

3. Socializing. I am a bit of a social voyeur, not in the prurient sense, but I just really like creeping around in people's minds, learning their experiences, motivations, desires. Although SL and other game environments are virtual worlds where many of us (I among them) play characters instead of simply being ourselves, the protection of anonymity that many players feel allows them to be far less inhibited in real life, providing you a unique look into their psyche. I've also made a number of close friends who claim to (and some who have reasonably proven to) live RL lifestyles that are vastly different from my own, and I never would have met any of them if we hadn't had this virtual life in common.

7. Avatar creation. I'm taking this to mean outfitting your avatar rather than actually producing the art assets involved? I'm no artist, but I have endless fun trying on different outfits, mixing and matching wardrobe, and trying on all the different body shapes, hair styles, and skins...

12. Sex or Sexual community involvement. I have never, in my life cybered (chatrooms/IM/cams) or even had phone sex with anyone- nor had any desire to, but I've had many fascinating and memorable in-character intimate experiences both in SL and one other game. I'm sure many people don't see a difference... but for me there is. It's an adventure and often a learning experience. I guess I don't feel comfortable going into more detail than that though.

13. Clubs. Hum. I keep going to clubs because I know other players are there... but I rarely find it a fulfilling experience. I find I roleplay best either 1:1 or with a small group of other players... the clubs just seem so chaotic sometimes that I feel that any real roleplaying effort might just go squandered, what with all the chat spam. Hopefully one day we'll have more reliable traffic indicators and I'll be able to find a club or two with a reasonable regular patronage to call home. Pity the club's other visitors by the way... pity them now.

22. Other. Uh, SHOPPING!!! Wonderful glorious SHOPPING!!! SL Exchange, SL Boutique, and the growing list of in-game stores I visit take up an increasing amount of my game time, but I love it. I've got a number of friends who seem to have philosophical problems with using real-world money to buy in-game items, but good lord... the stuff is so cheap! And EVERYTHING FITS!!! It doesn't get any better than that for me.

I am not aware of ever having seen anything you have built.

Where are some of them?
